Hi, my name is Rebecca and I'm a grown-ass adult (almost 40, dammit!) who misses the days of the early 00s internet. I spent so much of my core time as a depressed teenage girl building my own website, which was called lifesgarbage back on Tripod's site builder when I was 13. I got my own website and would design pretty simple layouts for it. I wasn't much of a coder. Then I got really into blogging and wrote on various platforms over the years, including Blogger and LiveJournal, before settling with Wordpress, which still hosts my author website today. Recent years have found me on all the main social media platforms but I still crave the days of my youth. I just discovered Neocities and it's so cool to see all the old school stuff coming back on here. I figured I'd scrape the rust off my old HTML skills and try to play around on here again.
